My name is Terry Burak and I have been a REALTOR in the Edmonton area for three years. In that time I have helped clients buy and sell single-family homes, condos, and acreages. I am also a member of the Commercial Division of the Edmonton Real Estate Board and enjoy the challenges that commercial real estate has to offer.Recently I received the SRES (Seniors Real Estate Specialist) designation, an internationally recognised program whose mandate it is to guide people aged 50 plus through real estate transactions. It is a privilege to help those who have contributed to society for so long as they transition into a new stage of their life.
I am also proud to have been appointed Commissioner for Oaths in and for the Province of Alberta. As such I have the ability to facilitate transactions by administering oaths and taking and receiving affidavits, affirmations and declarations. Over the years I have bought, renovated and sold several personal properties prior to being a part of the real estate industry. This passion for real estate is what lead me to become licensed and pursue a career helping others achieve their goals of home ownership.
My previous career as a Quality Control Technician has taught me the importance of attention to detail which I have brought to my present career as a real estate agent. The slightest mistake has the potential to stall or even squash a deal so I find this to be probably the most important skill that I possess.
I work closely with my son Derek who is a licensed agent and my wife Ruth-Ann who is our un-licensed assistant. Ruth-Ann’s roles are customer care and making sure everything runs smoothly as she does so well in our personal life.Thank you for taking the time to read this brief bio and learn more about me. I look forward to meeting you soon.
